What will we visit?
Pizzorno Winery is located on Route 32, approximately 23km from Montevideo. It is a family-owned winery, currently managed by the fourth generation of the Pizzorno family. The estate comprises 21 hectares of vineyards, cultivating Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec grapes for red wines, and Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay for white wines.
The tour includes transportation to the winery (approximately 50 minutes) from your hotel or a convenient pickup point and return transfer.
Once at the winery, we will begin the visit with a tour of the vineyards, winery, and cellar, accompanied by one of the family members—an exceptional opportunity that allows tourists to learn anecdotes and share their passion.
The tasting includes a selection of reserve wines from the premium line. It consists of 4 wine tastings, 2 reds, 1 rosé, and 1 white, accompanied by assorted empanadas.
Lunch represents a typical Uruguayan meal with two starter options and three main course choices, including red and white meats (chicken, fish, etc.) or pasta, along with a selection of wines from the cellar overlooking the vineyards. The lunch also includes dessert. The restaurant offers a children's menu and a vegetarian option as well.
