What will we visit?
Bodega Garzón is located on Route 9, about 175km from Montevideo and an additional 22km on a dirt road. It was founded in 1999 and is situated among the hills in the department of Maldonado. The winery is renowned for its excellent wines and olive groves, in addition to the breathtaking panoramic view and its strategic location.
The tour can be done as part of a city tour in Punta del Este or can be exclusively arranged starting from Montevideo. It includes transportation to the winery from the hotel or a designated meeting point, as well as the return trip.
Once at the winery, we will begin the tour by exploring the vineyards on a tractor-drawn cart, where we can learn about the cultivated lands and grapes, visit the winery, and learn about the wine-making processes.
The wine tasting includes 5 wines from the Estate, Reserva, and Single Vineyard lines, along with 3 different types of extra virgin olive oils, accompanied by a platter of cheeses, cured ham, pickled vegetables, table olives, and homemade bread.
Lunch is served at the winery's restaurant, offering excellent cuisine and a variety of à la carte options.
